The Marketing team leads brand strategy and positioning for UC San Diego. We help craft the unique articulation that sets our university apart from our competitors, engages and increases pride among our Triton community and defines UC San Diego to the world. We employ leading creative and media agencies to help increase awareness, engagement and consideration of UC San Diego through branding, advertising and paid media.

Marketing regularly consults and collaborates with Admissions, Alumni, Athletics, the Chancellor’s Office, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, among others to extend the UC San Diego brand through area-specific efforts and objectives. We also work with campus partners to amplify their marketing efforts through integrated channel strategies and media buys.
